Demo guide
What the demo does
It runs a real rule-based parser over plain text: the four built-in samples, anything you paste, or a .txt file you upload. It shows every field, its confidence, the validation checks, and the missing fields that caused review routing. The hotel, taxi and SaaS samples pass all checks; the café sample fails two, on purpose.
What the demo does not do
- Read images, scans, or PDFs — use the text or OCR output of your document.
- Connect to your email, your expense apps, or your ledger.
- Post anything to a real accounting system — the posting button is a labelled preview.
- Store your pasted text, detect duplicates across documents, or learn from your documents.
- Handle US-style numeric dates (10/24/2026) — dates are read day-first, and the docs say so.
How to read a result
A field shown as “not found” is a fact about the document, not a failure of the page — the parser will not invent a vendor, date, or total. A “Routed to review queue” verdict means a person should look at the listed checks before anything posts. That is the product's core behaviour, not an error state.
Try this
1) Run the café sample and read its two failing checks. 2) Paste a receipt of your own and delete the tax-ID line — watch the verdict flip to review. 3) Change a line-item amount by 0.01 — watch the totals check fail. That is the whole review model, in three minutes.
